About

Why should you go to therapy?

If you don’t know where you’ve been and what messages you’ve absorbed, you can’t know where you’re going.

You won’t know why you’re feeling shame, anger, or despair.

You won’t know why you can’t get along with your daughter – or mother.

Or why you don’t feel like you belong.

Together, we will work to build acceptance.

Family is so important to form a foundation of acceptance. Struggles that affect one family member affect all family members.

It is my mission to help our community one family at a time. Whether that is helping you build a stronger bond with your daughter or an understanding that permeates the entire family, we will address all pieces.

I offer a comforting environment to learn why you are where you are and how to find the path to a more joyful life.

About Me

My passion for children is nothing new. From the time I was old enough to babysit, I planned and hosted events and activities for children.

Even today, if in a large group of people, I would likely interact with the children in the room. My ability to connect with kids comes naturally and is apparent to those who know me.

I firmly believe that children are incredibly resilient, and this resiliency is what drives me in my work. Often, I have seen children faced with difficult circumstances. If addressed appropriately, they can come through stronger and better equipped to face future challenges.

My bachelors degree is in Social Work in Child Welfare, and my masters is in Social Science and Administration in Children and Family. I have completed post-graduate work in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Mother-Daughter Coaching, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

As a licensed social worker, I have many years of experience working with high-conflict families providing parenting support, workable parenting plans, and reducing conflict in families.

When I am not working, you can find me engaged in one of my greatest joys of creating beautifully decorated cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops. So, on any weekend, you can catch me in my kitchen baking and decorating goodies for friends and family. I also enjoy music, reading, horseback riding, and watching cartoons.

It would be an honor to help your family resolve whatever issues you are facing. Please complete the contact form below to start your journey to a happier family.
